FAMILY VALUES AND INHERITANCE FOR GENERATIONS

Article in the SUMMER BOOK BY EDITOR 2021 magazine

Form your family values, collect family heirlooms, create traditions, and pass down jewelry with precious gemstones as an inheritance, because they will never lose their greatness, and their value and worth will only increase with time.

Each generation collects its values and strives to leave a legacy for the next - to leave a part of themselves, to leave a memory of themselves and their life. Someone believes that investing in emotions is important. Yes, it is important to live a full life, to enjoy and find pleasure. However, it is unlikely that your emotions will pass on something valuable to your children and help improve their lives.

Life constantly goes on, and generations replace each other... Have you ever thought about what connects these generations? Sometimes, what seems valuable and important to us today may not be needed at all in 10-20 or 30 years... Real estate, cars, and even the business we build - all of this is temporary, but there are things that are eternal, steadfast and unchanging...

Jewelry and precious gemstones will not only preserve their value forever but also reflect the most important events and special moments of your life!

And if we can pass on life experience and teach some craft to our children, then to grandchildren... Grandchildren will only have the memory that you were in their life... As for great-grandchildren, most likely, they will only have stories about you...

In addition, jewelry with large precious gemstones is also a kind of insurance policy... Life is unpredictable, and our mission is to preserve what may someday help our children and grandchildren. No matter what country they are in, jewelry always retains its value. It is easily transportable and can always be taken to the country chosen by your descendants.

TRADITIONS AND TREASURES OF ROYAL FAMILIES

The most striking example of preserving finances and history of entire dynasties is the jewelry legacy of royal families, who manage to preserve unique treasures for future generations century after century.

Yes, the most important piece of jewelry in the collection of the "modern princess" - Duchess Kate Middleton used to belong to Princess Diana, who was once presented with more than ten pieces of jewelry to choose from, and she chose a ring reminiscent of Queen Victoria's famous brooch - in white gold with a royal blue Ceylon sapphire 14 round cut diamonds. Diana liked this ring so much that she wore it until the official divorce, when it had to be left with the royal family.

Another one of Princess Diana's most famous jewels is her iconic tiara. It was created back in 1914 by court jewelers for Queen Mary of Teck. The tiara was owned by Queen Elizabeth II for a time, and then she gave it as a gift to Princess Diana for her wedding. The royal tiara "Queen Mary's Knot of Love" is made of white gold and decorated with diamonds and pearls. Its value can reach 2 million dollars. Now the famous tiara is worn by the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton.

Kate also inherited an incredible diamond tiara, decorated with 888 diamonds. She received it as a gift from Elizabeth II on the eve of the wedding, and the queen herself received this precious accessory from her parents when she came of age.

The favorite jewel of Queen Elizabeth II herself is the tiara of the Girls of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. She received it as a gift for her wedding from her grandmother Mary, who was also given the tiara in honor of a similar ceremony in 1893. Today, Elizabeth II most often wears this tiara and is even depicted in it on official seals and currency.

Unfortunately, not all royal dynasties were able to preserve their unique heritage. In 1928, the jewelry house Cartier created a necklace with 5 diamond strands for Maharaja Patiala - Bhupinder Singh - in the center of which sparkled a pear-shaped yellow De Beers diamond with an impressive weight of 234.65 ct. In addition, the jewelry masterpiece featured seven large diamonds weighing from 18 to 73 carats and several Burmese rubies. It took three years to create such a unique piece of jewelry... It was truly a unique necklace that was last seen in 1941 in a photo of the Maharaja Yadavindra Singhi's son and disappeared from the Patiala treasury around 1948.

Precious gemstones are the most stable equivalent for preserving funds, especially when it comes to long-term perspective.

There have been other examples in history when unique jewels of the ruling dynasties, preserving their value and increasing it, were sold at auctions centuries later. In 2011, the Henckel von Donnersmarck tiara set a world record for the value of a tiara sold at auctions throughout history. The auction was held at Sotheby's, where the precious jewel was sold for $12.7 million. And the tiara was created back in 1900 by the order of German prince Guido Henckel von Donnersmarck. Being probably the richest person in Germany at that time, he chose as a gift for his wife – the Russian aristocrat Katharina Slepzow, a tiara with 11 perfectly matched Colombian emeralds weighing about 500 carats... Thanks to such unique jewels that we can learn about the history of great love!

The world remembers not so many beautiful life stories that would be recorded in the mysterious and noble glow of precious stones, but each one of them is truly special and reminds us that it is the treasures that allow us to leave our mark for eternity. It is precisely through precious stones that we have the opportunity to study the history of entire families from generation to generation.

There is no doubt that precious stones are the most stable equivalent for preserving financial resources, especially when it comes to long-term prospects. Just imagine, your great-grandchild will gladly accept this gift through generations, through years and decades... And perhaps, by selling the precious stone and receiving start-up capital, they will be able to obtain an education or start their own business.
